“But fairer than all the wonders of Gondolin was Idril, Turgon’s daughter, she that was called Celebrindal, the Silver-foot, whose hair was as the gold of Laurelin before the coming of Melkor.” (The Silmarillion)

4, 6, 16, 35, 38! :)

4. Which scene always makes you cry?

When Eomer thinks Eowyn is dead

That scene does not get enough credit

6. Which race would you be?

This may sound weird, but I think I’d want to be a Man

They are so proud of their race, not like we are. And then preferably on of the Dunedain

16. Rivendell or Lothlorien?

I really think just both, but I thin that if i were an Elf, I would fit better in Lorien

35. Which character would you want to be your parent?

38. Someone says ‘LOTR IS BORING/TOO LONG/SUCKS’, how do you respond?

I politely tell them that they suck and that they are wrong. They do not have anything to say to it and apologize for the fact that we can’t ever be friends

No just kidding. I tend to get a bit childish about it though, I mean, they can think what they want to think, it’s not for everybody

    1. theelfstone said: I get really childish about that as well! It’s hard for me to respond nicely when people criticise LOTR, but I try to control myself. And yes, the Eomer scene is heartbreaking!
    2. jess511 said: AGREED about Eomer with Eowyn scene!! Almost crying just thinking about it Karl Urban is bloody brilliant can’t believe it’s only in extended edition!
